Going to steel some of these resources and the idea for this page from another blog, 24hrheatingcooling.com Similar name and some good information along with a good resource section. (flatter while borrowing info some times helps, back links usually help more)
This is intended to target some good HVAC related resources to help people out. There are a lot, but strangely enough, finding them can some times be a chore.
Go Green HVAC – web site that discusses how to save money and the environment starting with your home. Probably the most direct site for what I was looking to talk about.
Energy Star – The main web site involving energy efficiency. Only problem with this site is that it’s to big. Some of the others on my list reference this site and may be an easier way to get to what your looking for.
The Daily Green – Excessive amounts of information and not really focused on just HVAC related issues. However some really interesting articles… plus I can help but read anything like this.
Green Home Guide – General going green inforamtion for your home.
FSHAC Resource center – It’s hosted by a Chicago based company and still under development, but I am adding it as it looks interesting. Claiming to be a resource center or some sort of HVAC resource hub, give what awards for service and there standing with the BBB it seems like they might follow through with it. Will see what time shows.
Other search engines:
You can always choose between Google and Bing, however there are other sites out there such as Alex. Alex has some interesting features allowing you to pull up information about a web site.
As an example, some web sites from this article.
Go-Green HVAC, site information, reviews
In Door Air Quality, site information, reviews
24hr heating and cooling, site information, reviews
And finally, my site. 24hr furnace repair, site information, reviews
